put new sparkplugs in and still won't start? Any ideas on what the problem could be?

how do you know the plugs arent firing?
your distributor has a pick up coil and a module under the cap. check those two.
Check to see all your connections to distributor are tight.
Check the coil too

couple of component's come concepts,distributor cap and rotor,plug wires.My guess is the ignition module interior the distributor under the rotor,basic to alter even for amateur,there isn't any way of understanding in the event that they are burnt out,in case you get no spark on the coil cord going into the distributor that is virtually a definite guess that's the module

lots to choose from......#1-Control Module (located on the distributor) GM ones are common to fail w/o warning #2-Coil
#3- check the wires (couldnt be THAT easy...)

Work backwards...check the wires....then the distributor cap, the distibutor, then egnition coil, yadda yadda....
