there turned right into a tremendous kind of warfare between Pearl Harbor and Hiroshima. there have been 1000's, probably 1000's of 1000's die interior the warfare between the activities. in case you only placed it on those 2 stages, then possibly the atomic bombings were no longer truly worth it, notwithstanding it changed into no longer only Pearl Harbor. The considering the time, which i'd no longer completely consider, changed into that the eastern does no longer resign below any situations. the eastern infantrymen and sailors had typically committed suicide rather than resign. The memories, from what I surely have heard, changed into women and children were being experienced to wrestle hand reachable if the individuals invaded. there have been estimates that a million or extra ought to die interior the struggling with on eastern islands if we invaded, and it changed into anticipated it ought to take years. Then there is the actual shown actuality that pretty a lot all the different eastern cities, except Hiroshima and Nagasaki were burned to the floor with common bombings. only some scientists had any theory of what changed into being equipped, such issues as radiation sickness, and the terrible burns were truly no longer time-honored till it exceeded off. the protection rigidity and authorities considered this with the purpose to hasten the resign. 1000's of 1000's of eastern had already been killed in air raids. i'm no longer protecting using the atomic bombs, yet hindsight is 20/20. that is trouble-free for us to seem again and be conscious what changed into unleashed, even those in cost truly were no longer that conscious on the time.

hmmm, just a wild guess here, but i bet none of the survivors of the Bataan death march called the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima an act of butchery of untold magnitude.

It is called a war, the president at the time, ( I think it was Truman)

It saved perhaps millions of US soldiers lifes by ending the war. In a real war ( which the US has forgot how to fight) you actually go out and kill the enemy till they give up.

When you do that, others decide they don't want to try it. I hate the fact it happened, but I would also have hated to see our troops die instead.

If the enemy knows you will destroy them unitill they give up, they are less likely to do anything, when they believe you will enter their nation and act like police they laught at you and will not be scared of you.

dont know also dont know if youre for it or against it
but let it be known the Political Correct world and left have done a great job of maskin history and wanting a new world order based on their perverted views. look those people the japs were so bent on asian domination that they said we will literally fight to the last man. we dropped the bomb on hiroshima and they lost about 130,000 lives but you know what we asked them to surrender and we wont drop another but guess what they said screw off so we dropped another now who is more ruthless our govt or theirs when they could have prevented the nagasaki bombing?

It was Roosevelt....and actually he was making war ending response to Pearl Harbor and WWII...."his" bomb saved countless American lives and showed a strength for our nation that has carried us for 60 years....

The Japanese attacked us, by some misfortune they were not able to officially "declare" war on us, but hurt us just the same....

The terrorist army "did not officially" declare war on us but hurt us just the same....I only wish Roosevelt was here now.....ha!

Anyway, war is not a kids game....1...2...3..4....I declare war....apparantly the rest of the world thinks nowadays......we'll surprise America and see how many we can kill..!!! Cause they will fight back and the whole time....the Americans will ***** about "our" human rights!!! And they will fight the US president for the murderers rights....sweet..that actually sucks....

The bombs saved lives in the long run. An invasion of Japan would have resulted in more "butchery."

Tough decisions are never easy or fully appreciated.

Does it matter...it ended the war without a single US soldier dieing attacking Japan........many more japanese died during the battle of Okinawa so what's your point....200,000 die during 2 atomic bombs while almost 500,000 japanese die on okinawa.
