I dont have anything to invest, and I dont really know any people where I live. I need to make some money quickly to buy baby clothes and furniture.....anyone have any ideas on how to go about this?

Have a yard sale. It will help you to clean out things you don't need and make a profit doing so. Have it on a weekend and put up signs the day before for a better chance at getting a big turn out. Put something in the paper for sale. They will sometimes post things for less than $1,000 for free. Mow lawns, paint, babysit, or clean someones house for some cash. You can also put an ad in paper or an ad bulletin in your area for things needed and some people will give them to you for free if you are willing to pick them up. Good luck.

Check out the pregnancy crisis center in your area, they are wonderful,they have baby clothes, and also you can get coupons for items such as cribs etc. They also have various parenting resources among other things that may be of interest to a new mom to be. Good luck
