Would you accept this trade proposal? Decline? or make a counter offer?

He's offering Manny Ramirez & Posada for Varitek & Thome.
I really don't want to give up Thome do u think i should try to see if i can give up Konerko instead.
I also have Pierzynski, do you think i should keep him or offer him instead of Varitek? Another idea was to give up Kent or T. Hunter instead but that would leave me with 3 good catcher. What do you guys think?
Plus i also wanted to get Contreras for Roger from him so i may try to add that to the original offer. Let me know what you guys think. I'm open to any suggestions. Thnx.

No dont do it .. it was almost debatable untill i read that you already have a starting catcher in Pierzynski .. dont do it .. White Sox will be hot down the stretch , and Thome will be a huge part of it .. Dont do that deal keep AJ , trade Varitek if you can, while he still has some trade value .. his average is horrible and wont get much better by the end of the season ..Kent, and Hunter for that matter, have been Medicore with the bat all season.. like i said, if you can even get somebody out of these two do it now because their trade value wont get much higher ..

.. about the Manny/Thome Trade .. Is Manny the best bat he has?? because u can get a better bat than Manny for Thome ..If he has any of the following bats, take one of them instead of Manny:
A. Soriano, Pujols, Ortiz, Beltran, Reyes, Wright, Hafner, Carlos Lee..
so the trade should look something like this:
Posada, Contreras, and one of the bats above for your Thome, Rogers and Varitek (you might have to put AJ pierzynski instead of Varitek, if he feels the same way about Contreras,as i do)

Don't give up Thome. With Pierzynski, u don't need Posada. Wit Konerko and Varetik for Manny and Posada it's not goin to work for him cuz obiously his whole idea is to get Thome. I'd just leave the trade alone and reject it but
if u really want this trade to go down then I would offer Thome, Varetik, and Hunter for Manny and Contreras. That's only if u need SP. If you don't just leave the trade alone and reject it.

The trade, as it stands, doesn't seem like it would benefit you-let it go. In my league I have Pierzynski and Posada rotating and I feel good about that. 'Tek just hasn't clicked yet, so I would steer clear of him for now.
