There are many names (Charles Soludo, Tony Egbo, Barrister whatever-by-the-dozens) with so much money (yeah, right) to share with wonderful, trustworthy people like us, that we must all be millionaires by now. Many variations exist. I just wonder if any of you have ever sent them any amount of money? I'd love to correspond with anyone who has any exprience or opinions with scams of any kind. I have been having fun with them for some time now, wasting their time.

These scammers are almost a subculture. Admittedly it is a disreputable one, but they display amazing ranges of apparent intelligence or lack thereof.

You mean the prince of Nigeria who has a trunk full of money but he needs your help to get it? Or the poor woman who is abused who has money tied up in some cockamamy account somewhere and mysteriously enough, only YOU can help her? Yeah, I've been unfortunate enough to accidentally open those emails. But no. I have never been stupid enough to believe them.

I had a chatterso from Nigeria for several months last yr. We chatted about lots of things.. he seemed very nice. After about 4 months he started the "scam" speach. I was shocked cause I thought if he was a scammer he would have done that speach a long time before that. He was patient...but it didnt pan out. After he started that speach I never talked to him again.
