Eucalypalyptus oil a little in a big pot of water on a slow simmer a towel over your head and inhale. ,menthal products, the type of menthol shower and bath wash to open sinuses, the sea salt H2O nasal spray. Ecchinacea is good internally get at local health food store and take according to directions if you think you have an inflamation or goldenseal works also. For allergies it works for me and others I've tried it on, but everybody is different, anyway it is worth a try... CELERY...the whole thing in a juicer, after thoroughly washing each stalk. Put on ice if you're not as strong about juice as me...maybe add a little lemon or lime. Apparently it's the mineral salts in the celery that is effective.Try a few bunches before giving up . It can't hurt you and it's great to be free of the sniffling and tearing. It took me 2 or 3.

Not sure about herbs, just don't take decongestant nasal sprays over the counter, I've been hooked for 10 years and I'm only just starting to break my addiction, it's just awful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Try NeilMed sinus rinse, saline spray, inhaling Vicks chest rub or ear candling (make sure you know what you're doing as it's a waxed cotton cone inserted into the ear and lit at the other end). Hot water in a bowl with a towel over your head is supposed to be good.

i have a lot of experience with herbs and sinus infections. on halloween i got a sinus infection that double mutated due to antibiotics. it took 6 months to get rid of it. the herbal formula that works for me is called Pueraria Clear Sinus. it's made by Evergreen Herbs. when i have a really bad infection, i'll take 6 capsules every 4 hours. this usually clears it up in a couple of days to a week. i still get them, but the pueraria clears it up quickly now. pueraria also works well on allergies. also, astragalus is good for sinus problems. it boosts your immune system.

Help sinuses? What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Lots of times, sinus problems are a direct result of what we're eating. (personally, I can't eat anything with white flour in it or my sinuses plug up, and I mean immediately!) I would check to see what's in your diet first to make sure you're eating correctly. Wheat and corn are the two most common food associated with allergies. I would make sure you aren't taking in any white flour, white sugar, preservatives or artificial sweeteners. Are your sinuses infected, or plugged up? Actually, my favorite herb for a plugged up nose was ephedra. The FDA has banned its use now in most of the country, but if you have access to ephedra tea, it can really help with a stuffy nose. My Allergy Tea might be helpful for you. You can find it at www.allgoodegifts.com in the Apothecary under medicinal teas.

I had sinus surgery a few years back (unfortunately I'm suffering once again) and my e.n.t. suggested putting about a dime size amount of a topical antibacterial ointment like neosporin into a bottle of saline solution, microwave the bottle (with the nozzle off) for about 10 seconds, shake, then spray. Not only will the saline solution help to flush your sinuses but the ointment will help to kill any infection. Hope it helps.

A mixture out of chamomile two, three tea bags (local grocer in the tea section), a few drops of peppermint oil (herbal store). Put that with brewing hot water into a bowl. Hang your head over the bowl with a towel covering your head and inhale as long as you can stand it. After a good cup of echinacea and sage tea. chamomile: calms your sinuses and irritation. peppermint: will open up yor nasal passages and help you breath. echinacea: will built your immune system against future infections. sage: will pull the infections out of moth and throat. mix the tea with honey if you like it will be good because of the enzymes in the honey.

Something that works excellently and is very inexpensive is a bottle of just plain saline solution that people use for/with contact lenses!!! The tips of the bottles are already "nose" size and shape too..... just squirt. It works the very same way as gargling with salt water if you have a sore throat! The salt will kill all bacteria and it will flush out pollens/infections etc. as well.
