I would prefer flowers, but I want him to pick my favorite flowers (showing that he's paying attention) instead of the cliche red roses.

Even better is a romantic home cooked meal of our favorite foods and wine, and then an incredible dessert- topped with chocolate roses and whipped cream ;) yum

I'm not a big Chocolate fan so I guess roses. Really I would rather just get a necklace or earrings though.

Well I have my own rose bushes,so I prefer Chocolate, and lots of it: I would be disappointed if I didn't also get a beautiful card from my husband: I always try to make him a special valentines day card, and if possible bake his favorite cake for him.

Personally, I would take out my girlfriend to dinner at the Olive Garden, While in the middle of dinner, I would excuse myself from the table. Once excused form the table, I would take out a few roses, that I cleverly hid in the trunk. I would then rest the roses on the seat of the car. Then, I would go back into the restaurant, and into the bathroom. Finally back to the dinner table.

Why do you ask, would I go to the bathroom, before returning to the table? Simple! This when, when she asks me where I been, I could say, "I was in the bathroom."

When the night is almost over, we would walk back to the car, where she would see the roses. What can i say, I am full of surprises!

Between the two..roses, as long as he bought them ahead of time and got my favorite color or something.... But honestly, a guy getting me something for Valentine's day would hopefully know not to get me either and to put a bit more thought into it.

Wow, people love your question. I'd vote for chocolates, since the roses are priced so outrageously at that time.
