Nail Polish remover works Great but also another thing is try rubbing alcohol or peroxide there also great for removing sticky unwanted thing from windows mirrors and anything else you could almost possibly think of....I probably wouldn't try the DW 40 cause the oil finish is hard to get off the window! it just makes it extremely greasy for a very very Very long time.......I learn the hard way! And the Razor will only scratch the window but you try what ever you want and Good luck!

Try to scrape as much off as you can using a single edged razor.
Then use a prewash spray. You may have to scrub a little with a net or nylon scrubbie. It's easier to clean up than WD40. Using anything flammable can be scary, esp. if you used heat to loosen the tape.

Goo-Gone and a safety razor are your best friends here. Goo-Gone gets the stickies off anything. Use the razor blade to get the bulk of the tape, and the GooGone to get the residue.

Naphtha (like you use in a Zippo lighter) lighter is GREAT for getting gooey stuff off of glass. Did I say GREAT? I meant GREEEAAAAT!
You can pick it up most anywhere they sell tobacco products. It comes in a yellow and blue plastic bottle (Ronsonol).
Here is a picture.
I would still scrape off the big stuff with the razor blade. But this will get the gooey stuff.

First, take a hair dryer, blow on the tape to melt the glue, and the tape should loosen. Pull off, then use lacquer thinner for the final clean up.

Scrape the tape off with a razor blade and use peanut butter and a toothbrush to get the sticky stuff off... I am serious. It really works...Don't use the crunchy kind, it's too messy.

Spray it with window cleaner, let it soak a few minutes and scrape off with a razor blade you use to cut wallpaper, etc. Your hardware store can help.

scrape off as much as you can. Then apply solid shortening. Rub in well with your finger and leave for an hour. Come back in an hour and wipe off with paper towel and then clean with vinegar with Windex.

Use a razor blade to scrape it. It should peel off easier this way. If not use some soapy water also.
