I agree with some of the other answers. Your probally on Yahoo answers too much. If that's not it then I will give you the advice that I give to the parents of my preschoolers. You must have a consistent evening routine. Let's say your scheduel goes a little something like this.
1. 5:00 home from work/school
2. Prioritize the things you need to do and do them in the same order every evening. Laundry, make & eat dinner, chores.
3. TV, computer, or book time. 1 Hour limit on work/school nights. Set a timer for yourself.
4. Take time to do something to slow the pace of your mind down. 30 minutes is all you need. A hot bath, mediatation/prayer, or massage.
5. Make sure that you are laying in bed at the same time every evening. Do not have the TV on while you are going to sleep. It disturbes the REM ( Rapid Eye Movement ) while trying to sleep. Try the snooze button on the radio instead. Personally, I can't relax to classical music. It has to be swing music to relieve my headaches or help me relax.

That answer is so easy. You keep staying up even past the time you should be sleeping because one; you either have developed a way to stay up until that time or you have to much on your mind and the excitement or stress won't let you sleep. Maybe its too hot or you're sick.

Limit yourself to 2 cups of java or less and none after noon.
Stress, lack of exercise

It's because you started at a young age, of not listening to your parents.
Because you wouldn't listen for so long, now you have become un disiplined and won't do anything good for you.
