Here is some help... 3/20. On a calculator do 3 divided by 20 and you get .15. That makes it 15%. Now do the rest yourself.

This is really easy, maybe you didn't realize it. Do each one of these fractions as a division problem on your calculator, then multiply the result by 100. That's the %.

the way in which to set this up is as a ratio. as an instance 3/16 = x/one hundred Now bypass multiply 3(one hundred)=16(x) three hundred = 16x x = 18.seventy 5 So, 3/16 = 18.seventy 5% in case you favor to envision, 3/16 takes position to be .1875 or 18.seventy 5% 2) 7/12 = x/one hundred seven-hundred = 12x fifty 8.333 = x or fifty 8.333 % 3) 5/4 = x/one hundred 500 =4x 120 5 = x or 120 5% 4)7/3 = x/one hundred seven-hundred = 3x 233.333 = x or 233.333% 5) 4/three hundred = x/one hundred four hundred=300x one million.3333=x or one million.3333% 6) 5/9 = x/one hundred 500 = 9x fifty 5.5555 = x or fifty 5.555% 7) one million one million/4 = 5/4 = x/one hundred 500 = 4x 120 5 = x or 120 5% 8)3/40 = x/one hundred three hundred = 40x 7.5 = x or 7.5%

How about using ratios and working it out on a calculator? Do you need someone to explain that? It is better for us to show and explain rather than just do it for you. How about that? Can someone please explain the process of how to solve these for this student? And then we can check her work?
Please be nice and do not insult her. But please help her.
Can you try these by yourself now that people told you how?
Will you be able to do these on an exam? Are you going to have a calculator for the exam? If not ask someone on here how to do these by hand. People showed you different ways please look at these. Look at moving decimal points. Please learn from this not just write it into your slots. You want to retain this.
