Happiness is like an orgasm. You know if you have it. But unlike an orgasm, it's not necessary to segregate it from other aspects of life.

What is happiness. A response to positive moments in life? An emotional response to good things. Like all other emotions, only one that seems to lighten the load? So maybe happiness is a state closer to the one we call bliss. What is bliss? How many people feel it, or have felt it? Happiness is too far up, when it ends or something intrudes we have such a long way to fall. Bliss, or whatever you want to call whatever it is, maybe that's the true meaning of God. Maybe that's the state in which we can truly regain our knowledge. The state we come from and return to. You can't segregate happiness, it's a chemical reaction to stimulus. Unless you're a sociopath. But that would get kinda boring, wouldn't it?

happiness lives for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.
There are people who simply drift along, searching for somewhere they belong to in this world. Looking for a place to call their own, they want to know where they stand in life. Years go by, but the answers might still be unknown to them, even til their very last breath on their deathbeds. Maybe that's what this journey called life is all about.
But living life is never a waste. When we have somebody to love and something to hope for, we learn to embrace the true beauty of life. Cherish every moment of your life because once it's gone, it will never come back. Sometimes you miss it so badly that it hurts inside.

happiness is from within, nothing can make you happy, things can make you smile, or make you feel alive, but true happiness is something that you get in life by accepting the life you were dealt, knowing that your life is in the hands of God and by submitting to His will, only then will happiness mean something to you

Happiness is an emotion. It is different from other emotions by how it makes you feel and react. If you can not recognize happiness then see a doctor for depression.
