I'm 16 and I can start taking my birth control this sunday. I'm not using it for a contraceptive, however but I mean if I were sexually active it would help lol. Good to know you're doing the right thing I know a 15-year-old who got pregnant when she was 14 actually so yeah...it can happen to anyone as long as your not using any protection.

The nausea is very normal from what I've heard...and it's what I'm most afraid of happening while taking mine lol! But it's supposed to go away. If it doesn't within about a month or gets worse see a doctor about it.

The breakthrough bleeding is also normal, and this hsould also even out, slow down, or disappear completely. That's what my doctor told me anyway.

As for the headaches well I don't know what kind of birth control you're using most of them are pretty much the same but since you've only been taking them for 9 days give it some time, and like I said just see a doctor if it doesn't go away or gets worse! good luck :)

those are some side effects possibly but you should definitely go back to where you got the pills from (health clinic or where ever) and tell them about your symptoms. they might suggest a different brand of pill (everyone is different), and you shouldn't just abruptly stop taking the pills right now because then you might bleed for the rest of the month. it might have been because you didn't take it at the same time everyday..
& breakthrough bleeding, i know what you mean but i don't know how to stop that. maybe insert your tampon more in?

Props to you for being mature. I am so proud of teens who actually use there brains if they are having sex. Anyway, there are alot of side effects of birth control pills. I was on them for 5 years before I decided to have my son and then again for two years before I decided to have my daughter. I had alot of bad headaches, called migraines. The only way they went away was when I wasn't on the pills. I now have my tubes tied. You may need to talk to the Dr. and see if there is another pill with a lower dose of hormones. This will help with the headaches and what sounds like blood clots. Good luck and stay smart.

This is a normal reaction to birth control at first. It will take a while for your body to adjust to it's new schedule. It will also take some time before you are fully covered, so use a condom until after your first month!
CONGRATS for keeping yourself from getting pregnant, but don't forget, the pill doesn't protect from diseases!

You need to see a doctor. Not all girls can take the same dosage of birthcontrol, it can cause depression as well as physical problems. You need to tell your mother unless you want to hurt yourself. It's not so bad, my parents found out about me when I was your age too. They love you, they wouldn't abandon you when you need them.
