I know this two people that were just going out, she happened to get pregnet and he signed the birth certificate. The fact that he signed the birth certificate and filled out a form "that he is aware that he is the father" does this make them Common- Law Married? even though they never signed anything saying they wanted to be common- law married? if they separate would they have to get a divorce or is it just dissolved?

No it does not. I live in a state with common law marriage. Both parties must live together for over seven years and in that time if a break up occur es then the parties can fight over objects of possessions or custody as a marriage. It also gives them the right to claim taxes together. The birth certificate it to show paternity and that he could fight for custody rights if wanted.

No. It doesn't make them tied together in any way. Each of them is connected to the child, but neither is connected to the other.

Common law can be affected by introducing the other person as your spouse, in their presence. There is nothing to sign to be common law, that's why it's not just called marriage.

no no and no
common law is when a couple has been together so long - like years and years and years - 1/2 of their lives at least - then the law considers them 2 be common law married. it has nothing to do with signing papers or having kids

common law marriage means they had to live togethter for a certian amount of time. I dont think being a baby daddy and signing as such means he is also married. When they seperate, he will remain a baby daddy.
