The photos are of late to mid term abortions, where even the mothers lives could be at risk.
In many cases aborting may be the only option, hence I say that it is maybe a necessary evil.

Don't allow yourself be swayed by lame-as's shock tactics like that.
Abortion is Bad, there's No excuse; the foetus's life is as important, if not more so!
I use to think that way, its nice and straight forward.
A Black and White way of looking at the world, but the world is not that simple.
If it were, there would be an awful lot more suffering, Imagine yourself in their shoes; Example:
Imagine the foetus was sick and/or deformed and would only live a short time after birth, and in terrible pain?
Imagine the mother’s life was in danger due to complications?
Imagine the mother had been raped and had only just found out she was carrying her attackers child.
Imagine... (Fill in the Blank!) there could be a million other scenarios.
I still think Abortions purely for convenience are wrong, but trying to legislate or prove what is a legitimate reason and what isn't would be a nightmare and would probably take longer than the pregnancy.
Our current system (In England) is far from perfect, but I can't think of a better alternative. Can you?

I don't like the word "pro-choice" because that's so narrow. What about the babys choice? They don't get to decide if they want to live? You can label me pro-choice if you look from the right perspective... the one that is innocent from wrong. And hasn't been given the chance to learn from mistakes before being killed. If you don't want a baby, don't do anything to get pregnant. If birth control doesn't work for you, don't have sex. If you're unwilling to accept that, then there is adoption, but not murder. It's not just a collection of cells, it is a human life you are ending, life is from conception, not from 'birth'.
from a remark above... do you think a baby in a partial birth abortion is not developed? (there are some areas where this is or has been legal at up to 8 months of pregnancy).

I am against abortion.
Regarding a woman's choice, I am woman. I am 40 years old, have been married twice, and I have never had children. That was my choice. I have never had to have an abortion because I have been responsible. I did not choose life or choose to have my rights: I chose PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
Grow up, ladies. This will never be a perfect world, and there will never be 100% effective contraception. I had a tubal ligation last year, and the doctor told me even that isn't 100%.
If I were to become pregnant, I would not choose life or choose
any of my own rights. I would consider myself chosen to carry, deliver and raise a child, and I would consider it a privilege. (After I got over the shock, of course.)

Yep I am still pro choice, which by the way isn't really for abortion, it for a woman's right to choose for herself.
Just thought I would add, since it has been brought up that Partial birth abortion or late term abortions make up 1.4% of abortions in the US and are usually done for health reason, the fetus dies, serious birth defects, or danger to the mothers health. I do not agree with late term abortion for any reason other then a health issue.

WOW! fiirst of all when a fetus is aborted they do not have hair or are that developed. thjese people are obviosly trying to gross you out with babys who were probably miscarried at like 8 months
PS It is illegal to have an abortion once the fetus is old enough to survive so in those 8 month cases they were probably sick or could have endangered the mother or the baby in the future(some kind of disorder that cause suffering and early death)

Against...However if having the baby will kill you and even if they do survive thru the pregnancy they wont be completely developed it may be something to think about..its a horrible thing to do but in cases like that im undecided
