What i am saying is that the latin community likes to use the african american culture as their own cuz they love it, but at the same time they act like they are the best, they act like they are their own people and they don't neeed nobody else. I hope you guys know what i mean.

I live in a neighborhood that is part Mexican and part Black. The people in my community live, work, party and worship in the same places. I guess we are very fortunate, because there is much cultural sharing and crossover...many marriages.

my girlfriend aka my future wife the mother of my child is Dominican.
allot of that come from the way blacks are portrayed in the media people from other countries that's all they see,also remember"read willie lynches'leter its on the net its a skin tone thing also remember the slave owns treated the light skinned slave different in order to keep us divided but there is racism in Spanish cultures
me and my girl friends argue alot because she thinks its an intirely different culture, now here the thing im black but the lady who raised me is puerto rican and so is my brother.
its all in the education alot of younger latino dont understand the civil rights movement thing ..no what i mean but for the most part they are great passionate people give me an email id like to discuse this with you because i had i similar problem
Most latin culture and black culture inter twine..ever been to the caribean. and break dancing along with hip hop was enfluence by latinos homeboy . i use that loosly cuz i actually think you white just trying to drive a wedge were it wont fit.

I'm not sure what you're talking b/c Latinos have their own culture. If anything African Americans have been influenced by their culture and vice versa. There's nothing wrong with experiencing other cultures.
