I never really attached myself to one thing, because I had a lot of stuffed animals growing up, and I felt bad if I didn't give attention to them all equally.

No, I had a stuffed bunny rabbit. But my daughter has a security blankee and she's 5. It is nothing more than a rag now with lots of holes, but she loves that thing and doesn't care how ragged it is, even when other kids tease her. It's her best friend! I think she'll keep it until there's nothing left but a little square.

My son has Pillow. He will be nine in a few months. The covering has become threadbare twice and I have had to slowly put on two coverings now. First I slip on some fabric that he has picked out with only three sides sewn, once he is used to it he lets me sew up the rest of it. It get washed quite often and it is about time for another cover. It started out as his father's pillow and for some reason my son to a liking to it.

Yes, I did it was pink and shaped like a sheep. My mom made it for me. It was used to bits by the time I was 6. I was so sad. I still have my childhood Teddy Bear, Russ. My daughter sleeps with him now.
