I so understand what you are going through. I was raised in the same manner. My entire family was racist and I always felt different from them. It is a hard thing to overcome but it can be done. I did it. You seem to have a handle on looking to the inside of people and seeing what is really important. I did that and I met the love of my life. He is a black man but I see a man that made me the love of his life. No matter what the outside holds the inside of a person makes the person. Whether they are white, black, mexican, irish, asian or anything it is what you see that makes them them that decides if it is right. Go with what you already know and follow the heart that god gave you. Break your familys mold and start a new generation of tolerance and acceptance. That is the only way this world can survive. Good luck.
Oh and one more thing.. People can change. It happened in my family. My racist family now accepts my husband as a part of the family. He is welcome in their homes and at their tables. It took a long time but it did happen. So educate and love. That is my advice to you. God bless you.

No, it's not wrong at all. Would you be happy living your life having just tried vanilla ice-cream? I doubt it. I'm sure you'd be much happier trying vanilla, chocolate, caramel etc, and then you can choose which flavour you like the best regardless of what the racist town thinks. Your own happiness is far more important than the judgement of society. Honey I'm a white girl in a bit of a racist place too... let me tell you, chocolate flavoured ice-cream.... you'll love it don't let closed minded people stop you from trying it!

When it come to sex there is no color to apply because the are all the same. Now figure it out how can you see any color when you are in love to somebody? Try to search about sex and tell me if there is color involve in here. Thank you and good luck.

As the others said, enjoy, marry, have a family, and live happily ever after as a model couple to others who were naysayers in the beginning.

There is nothing wrong with mixed couples but some areas in the world still find it hard to accept. Do what your heart tells you to do and remember its not about skin color its about who they are.

No more so than having sex with any man...
We are not responsible for the color of our skin...people are people...alike in spite of our differences...
Racism is what is really wrong...
