Use a paste of baking soda and Clorox, scrubbing with an old toothbrush. Rinse well. Be sure to use rubber gloves, and have plenty of air when you do this. (open a window in or near the bathroom, and turn on the fan if there is one.) This should solve the problem. Then always, always, always wipe the walls of the shower dry with an old towel after using the shower so the "ick" doesn't build up again.

Get a cleaner specifically for mold/mildew. Like Tilex Mold & Mildew Remover. Spray it down and let it soak in for 10 - 15 minutes. Scrub it down with a scrub brush. Then rinse. You may have to do this several times to get it all. Make sure you have a window open and the fan running while you are doing this.

Yup, bleach. Put it full strength in a spray bottle and spray away. Just be sure to have some ventilation in the room because the fumes will be very strong. And be careful to not let it drip on any carpeting, towels or clothing that you don't want to be ruined! (Speaking from experience.) You may not have to scrub it at all, just rinse off after you see the brown is gone.

Use comet with bleach to remove what is already there. and spray the shower with a bleach based cleaner when you are done a couple of times a week to prevent new growth. It sounds like some kind of mold.

I would try fantastic with bleach, not the normal bathroom one. If this donsn't remove it all you may need to remove the old caulking, reclean it and then re-caulk it. You probable have such a build up of mildew that when you don't remove it completely it just grows back.

Sounds like thick mildew. You have to use something with bleach in it. I personally like Soft Scrub With Bleach.

I think that's mold. You need something that has bleach in it.
Like the shower Clorox thing. That'll kill anything and everything, inclusive of mold! :)

Renee sounds like she knows what she is talking about. Please, Please do not purchase items that say they will clean your shower. They usually don't. Bleach is the best thing to help you just about anywhere, you just have to know where the party is.
