Java is different than javascript. So be sure you are turning off the one you really want off. To turn off javascript in Internet Explorer do the following:

1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
5. Under Active Scripting, choose Disable.
6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.

This function is part of the browser's preferences. Each browser puts the control panel in a different place. Look for example in Firefox's pref's under 'Content' and you can see the clicks to turn it on and off.

;-D Happy hunting!
