Ok this is kind of hard to explain.. first of all I am on birth control. I am really confused on how it works. Well and my mother is too. My mother and I had been skipping around on my birth control pills because we had got lost on which days to take them, so we skip around, my first question is that safe? My next question is I take the birth control at night time. Am I supposed to take it in the morning or at night? Now I had sex on June 27, that was the last day of my period, and he doesn't use no condom or nothing, we use the pull out method. Well anyway, we also had sex on the 1st of june and the 15th of june. And since then I haven't felt really good for the past couple of days. My breasts are sore and I do feel bloated and sick on my stomach, and I haven't had my period yet. I'm worried that I could be pregnant. Could I?

The only way to know is if you get tested.

I'm sorry, but how are you confused about how to take birth control pills? They're typically in lines by day and week or in a circle by day. You take one EVERY day, usually starting the Sunday of your period. It doesn't matter if you take it during the day or at night, as long as you take it at the same time every day. It is possible to get pregnant if you miss just one pill, so it's important to take it EVERY day! It's impossible to know if you're pregnant, not knowing if you ovulated or which day you ovulated. You most likely couldn't have gotten pregnant on June 1st or June 27th, but anything's possible if you weren't taking the birth control like you were supposed to. It's a lot more likely that you could have gotten pregnant on June 15th as that was the middle of your cycle. The symptoms you're describing could be early pregnancy symptoms, or it could be something else. The only sure way to know is to take a test. Is your period late? If you test and it's negative, wait another few days and test again if you haven't started your period yet. Or go get a blood test, the pg hormone shows up earlier than in home pg tests.

Skipping around birth control pills is a bit of a NO NO. Each pill has a different level of medication in it and if you do not take it in the right order, you leave yourself completely unprotected from pregnancy. The only way to tell at this point is to take a pregnancy test, since you have some of the symptoms of pregnancy, but also of PMS. Also, you might want to visit with a physician who could properly explain how to use the pills or offer you some other alternatives that might be less confusing. Good luck!

You could be pregnant.. there is such a thing called pre ***... so the pull out method isn't so safe.. you can take your birth control when you want but it has to be the same time everyday.. to be the most effective.. and everyday.. It's not such a good idea to be skipping around.. you might as well not even have been taking it.. all the symptoms your having are signs of a pregnancy but you could also be starting a very hard and long period because you were skipping around with your pills.. those pills are hormones and can throw your body out of wack.. don't take anymore until you know for sure that your not pregnant.

First you need to get straight on your pills. You can't be skipping around like you say. It doesn't matter what time of day you take them, as long as you take them close to the same time of day every day. You say you had a period on June 27th. This is only July 18th. I would think you have a few days before you start worrying. If you don't have a period in July then you should get a test

First off yes u could be pregnant, no its not safe to guess which days to take ur pill, I dont think morning or night matters though, Also the "pull out method" get real. Birth control is already not 100% effective and this raises the odds of getting pregnant

First of all, these people need to stop being so rude. You are being very polite and clear about your question.

Second, I've never taken birth control, nor have I had sex, but I do believe that you get a pack of 28 pills, and when you are done taking them, you get your period. Now I could be wrong, so don't fully trust me. And by what other people have said, it's alright to take it at night but you need to be consistent with it.

And finally, those are all signs of pregnancy- very clear signs. So I would get a test or see a doctor.

Hope I helped =D

U should not skip because the pill will not be effective. It does not matter if you take it morning or night just everyday but around the same time is best. u could be pregnant but the pill could be making u sick and causing changes in your body. Play it safe and take a home test.

Are you talking about birth control pills? If you've been skipping around on them and not taking them consistently, yes. There's a very good chance that you could be pregnant.

You need to ask your doctor to clarify how to properly take your birth control. You should not have sex at all until you COMPLETELY understand how your birth control works.

you should take the pill everyday and not "skip" around,it doesnt matter if you take it at night or morning as long as you have it at the same time every day. if you lose your place in the pill you should stop having sex and start the pill again, wait till your safe on the pill again, yes you could be pregnant so go and get a test.

Why the hell are you asking such a personal and important question of total and mostly non professional strangers ? Are you daft? No wonder you might be pregnant. Get a grip! Get a pregnancy test for God's sake and go see an ob/gyn doctor. Then try reading some material to enlighten yourself on how pregnancy actually happens and what the effective % rate of any birth control is. oh and use it correctly!!!!. lol You are way to uneducated obviously and too immature to be responsible for your actions .....yet you are having sex and clueless!. God help us! Cripes! I hope to God you are not pregnat! You cannot even take care of yourself, let alone some poor innocent child. EEEKKKSSS!!
