"IT" to me was a very very boring movie from Stephen King. He has definately got more intense scary movies. I like Christine and The Storm of the Century.

IT is a scary story but you have to remember the movie is a "made for TV" movie....... so it did not have the kind of budget to make it as well as say a major movie studio could have..... Stephen King has a great mind for horror and i would recommend reading the book... I know it scared me

No, the movie is AWFUL. But the book is very good and very scary. The people who made the movie did an injustice to Stephen King.

I think IT was /is scary but mainly to a certain generation (i.e., mine) Almost everyone I know is afraid of clowns to this day and 98% of them blame it on IT, including myself. Though, watching the movie now, it's not so creepy...the memories are still around though, from my youth.

looks scary as hell! of you want a scary movie, see the grudge, or the ring 1&2. (see the first one first or you have no idea what's going on in the second one. the second one is way scarier than the first)

It was a little bit scary until you get to the end, when you find out what IT actually is it's kind of a let down.

If you read the book, the movie wouldn't scare you.
I found the book much more frightening but it's always that way. If you didn't read the book, the flashbacks can get a bit confusing.
But they usually don't kill kids in movies, and Pennywise the clown is something to behold.

It depends on whether you're afraid of clowns or not, apart from the creepy clown it's incredibly crap and not scary at all.

It depends on the age that you are.if you are like10-12 you will probably going to be scared but if you are afraid of clown also then yes! But if you are older then 12 and you are not scared of clowns then you should be fine.

I think it is! Clowns are scary anyway, this just makes it worse.
