It has helped a big instustry to be set up with big buck.
thousands of books have been written....
hundrends of movies....
and millions of idiots are following,.. and pay big bucks to assure that "the end of the world" is coming or not.
The smart ones???? they exploit this situation and get the money.
The churches>>>>> they exploit the situation because it induces the fear that "brings the sheep in the yard" and can be easier to be milked.
well......I could keep going on writing...... but not enough space.....
