What crazy family traditions have you started in your home?

I love the breakfast for dinner idea.

I have 3 sisters and we freak people out when we bring boyfriends home to meet the family. We tell them that they have to be approved in the sack by mom before they can get anymore serious in the relationship. That mom has to try them out and get the seal of approval. It's so ridiculous but we all keep a straight face and pretend like it's a normal thing when we tell them. At first they laugh but then start to have doubts that we're joking. Of course we tell them it's just a joke and we're just screwing with them but we wait till they sweat it our for awhile. It's not right really but it's hysterical.

We had breakfast for dinner in my house every once in a while, but my favorite is when we used to make our own pizzas. I am in college now and miss home cooked meals altogether!
Now my mom and her boyfriend go to breakfast every sunday and anyone who can get up gets a breakfast (there are six girls between 18 and 23, we're never all went at the same time lol).

That is the greatest idea I've ever heard!!! Breakfast for dinner??!! Holy crap, I'm sold!

The only tradition I have is to stay out of each others way :) We don't get along.

at my house it used to be every sunday pancaks and sausage for supper/dinner. Un less we get sick of that then it's french toast instead of pancakes. Oh,and instead of it being every sunday it's bean fridays. Don't ask what ever mom servs up.LOL

oh my goodness my mom used to do the same thing as paulie- poos mom and dad when i was a kid too.

I have two sons 5 and 18 months and they love SpongeBob SquarePants (maybe as much as me and my husband:) Anyways every Sunday we have Krabby patties for dinner. There really just hamburgers but the kids love it. And we get to teach them to use their imagination.
