The last date of my menstrual period, or when it started was June 13th. That is the date that the OB will use in predicting my baby due date right? If he counts that, it means this is week 5 for me. Now my exact date of conception/date that my hubby and I made love was June 25th, cause that was the only date last month we tired. Now based on June 25th, I should add 9 months to that date and I am looking at March 25th to have the baby right? If I go by my LMP that date is June 13th which means I substract 3 months, so that is March 13 and add 7 days, which comes out to March 20th. What date is more accurate for me to prepare for my baby guys?

They go by your last period and then use a grace period of I believe about 10 to 14 days to take into consideration your ovualtion time. Here is a site that has a due date calculator. Oh and go by weeks instead of trying to figure months since some months are shorter or longer. Every 4 weeks represents a month so technically its 10 months or 40 weeks. When you hit 36 weeks, they consider you to be in your 9th month.

the doctor will use your 1st day of your last period. What you do is count 40 weeks from June 13th for your EDD (estimated Due Date)The average womans date of ovulate is about 14 days from the first day of you last period, for you it was June 27th. Thats the ESTIMATED day you concieved. Here is the catch, sperm can live in you up to a week after sex has occured. So you having sex on the 25th could have gotten you pregnant on the 27th. Here is another confusing fact. When the doctor gives you the EDD, it counts day one of pregnancy starting from your period.. June 13th. So, the day you conceive you are considered two weeks pregnant! I know it sounds crazy but ask your doctor about how the due date is attained, he may be able to explain it better. I am on my 5th pregnancy, and I have done alot of research on pregnancy, this miracle that happens inside us is amazing but somewhat complicated. I believe your EDD is March 20th 2007. Good Luck and congrats to you and your husband

You can go to this web site and type in the date of your last period... but there is a chance that you didn't conceive the 14 after your period... like they guess....http://babiesonline.com/pregnancy/duedate/
