I guess it would depend on where they were stripping or prostituting. High class versus low class. At least with stripping you'd have a slightly more safe lifestyle seeing as you're not actually having sex (unprotected) or being alone with people. Remember before you try and get yourself into this kind of business: most serial killers or just plain ol' evil people target prostitutes because they're easy prey.
I don't really have any first hand experience with this so I can't give you numbers, but I have had friends who were "escorts" and a few strippers. The escorts were on the higher end so they got paid a ton, the strippers actually did it because they enjoyed it. But that's just a few people. It's hard to get out of it because working a 9-5 and not getting paid nearly as much sounds like a bad deal, but in the long run you'll be better off getting a 'real' job with real benefits and no gross geezers trying to touch you all the time. ^_^

Well that depends on the person working and where, and how they work...Exotic dancing is an art form in some places and can be highly profitable (and looks don't matter if you are good)...But in other places like the "Biker Bar" you will find strippers who don't make more than the average waitress.

A call girl can make quite a bit of money if she is smart and runs her business well (doesn't let her self get pimped either by a pimp or by the agency she is working for).Where as a street hooker will sell her self for $20 at times just to make ends meet or get that next fix.

Speaking of "fix" all those positions run into the drug world, and honestly that is when it doesn't matter how much money you make a day, week, month, year...You are only working for that fix..Or even worse your pimps fix, because all those positions run into the pimp world as well.

Escorting and Street hooking can easily get you killed for no reason....But exotic dancing tends to be a bit safer as long as you are careful not to leave the club alone, (leave with other girls or let the bouncer get you to your cab..never your own car because you are to easy to track through your tags)

Don't get me wrong though they are all rough ways to live.

Hookers charge their own rates...strippers...don't charge their own rates...and besides...strippers get tips...and that is alot more money in their pockets. Hookers are just different...alot are expensive hookers...and some are just cheap. Strippers don't have a choice...they get paid what ever their set to get paid by their boss or manager.

A lot more? Well, it would depend on who was paying...some 'hookers' or 'prostitues' command a great deal of money, most do not. Few strippers are well-paid. The exact amount would be impossible to quote.

most hookers in America get paid very little and often have to give alot of it, to the person who operates or controls them, often called a John, So many can, but most don't

strippers all depend on the quality of the place. But even there the business takes most of the tip money thierself

Strippers get a pretty penny on a decent night depending on what club they dance for, or if they do parties.

Hookers have to stand on the street half the night, and after the pimp gets his cut there ain't much left.

Also depends on the town, and style of clientele that the hooker obtains.

i was watchin cops and there was a hooker who was collecting her money and she got $25 from a guy, so maybe around that...

and for strippers, it depemds how much they get tipped and how much the place pays

I would say it would depend on the situation. I am sure "escorts" get more than street hookers. I am also sure it would depend on what you lok like. Strippers can make big money, but they usually get tied up into drugs. Show me what you have got baby!
