my webcam brand is micro innovations and there is a number on the bottom that is CM10401 don't know if that helps or not

Go to the homepage of the company who made the webcam and look under their drivers section. You should be able to download the driver from their site or at least find a link to a site where you can get it. If worse comes to worse find the company's phone number, call them, and tell them you need a new cd.

you can try to find the installation information online. I would check with the webcam manufacturer first and see if they can replace the cd. Some companies will do that free of charge. However, if they won't, you can try places like Limewire, Kazaa, or Bear Share to find the files.

You just need the driver to install the webcam so it can talk to the computer..
a good way to find out if that number is right..
google image the model number and name.
if it looks like the same one. whammo try and install the driver for it.

I would visit their website and look for either a support or downloads section, where you will be able to download software called a "driver", which will be the same software that would come on the CD!

The site is of a different kind of origin but they have all the codes you need. Don't be shocked at the site, not for the timid or shy people. they have them all.

in case you favor to positioned ina KEY or a code of a few style,then it will be that once you've downloaded it once you cant receive anymore. without or with the most. try it and observe...
