I have had tornado dreams before too, and found they have always occurred during a time of upheaval in my life, when I felt I had no control over something that was occuring. My tornados were also relatively harmless, and completely unrealistic when I wake up and think about it. I felt they meant I didnt like the changes in my life and didnt know how to deal with it.

I've got recurrent tornado dreams; then again I'm also a weather buff.
My tornado dreams usually come at times when I'm particularly stressed out. They come and completely destroy the thing that I don't realise is stressing me until after I've woken up. I usually feel better. But then, that's probably because it's just a dream and I'm not actually re-living the tornado incident. Hum.

I dream about tornadoes all of the time myself. I don't know the answer to your question. I have looked for it everywhere myself. I know how disturbing those dreams can be. I always end up having to find a way to make sure that my family is safe. It is hard to do when all of the roads are blocked and you have to walk forever to get there.

I have recurring tornado dreams. They seem to stem back to my first viewing of the Wizard of Oz, as a child.
The dreams are always terrifying, but in the end I'm never harmed.
Note: I don't 'blame' the movie; it is actually my all-time favourite. I've seen it at least 40 times.

This dream means the opposite of what it depicts. It denotes peaceful conditions and financial advancement
