I've heard it around but is it true?

depends on the bite

vinegar is a tremendous home remedy. always worth giving a try

I haven't heard that but it is worth a try since it would virtually be harmless.

I have found eating spicy hot foods makes mosquitoes avoid me. Then when I do get a bite I never scratch it. I poke at it with a finger tip (watch the nail). That way it doesn't break the skin and cause swelling and more itching.

Good luck with the vinegar.

no. moreover, the vinegar is going to hurt your skin and leave you a dark mark if you have dark skin. soap(basic and closer to your skin natural pH) is more likely to help the bug bite go away.

yep , prettty much , vinegar neutralizes the poison.
apple cider vinegat has over 93 essiential vitamins and minerals in it.
