Hmmm... I don't think I do. I love my daughter (she's 16). She's a great kid and has a wonderful future ahead of her. But so do I! When she heads off to college in two years, I want to start traveling (I'll be an empty nester at that point). Seattle, Boston, New Orleans, Dublin... so many places I've always wanted to see but never had the time or money (not that I'll have all that much money with three kids in college... aaack!). All I've ever wanted for my kids is that they be healthy, happy, and kind. So far... so good!

Some mothers do.Some mothers were never the cheerleader or popular in school and they try to make their daughters what they weren't.Now alot of mothers just want the best for their daughters and will do anything.

What an interesting question. I'm really not sure how to answer it
except to say It's easier to try to recapture your own childhood than to live in someone elses shadow

some do, some don't.
most of them, however, want the best for their daughters.
