Yes you can. They will still talk to you and tell you places that you can talk to someone else. They can give you information about getting help and places where there is group therapy

I think so, especially if you don't have anybody else you can talk to. It's better to talk to them than nobody at all. If nothing else, it might prevent the person from becoming suicidal. What can it hurt?

You can call but they won't do anything. I tried that once, and they said, "what do you want us to do?". I'd suggest calling your county mental health organization listed in the blue pages of the phone book. Good luck.
