You really have to check this out.
Imagin-Iff.
It's a game that offers hypothetical situations that you ask about the people in your group. Lots of laughs.
It may only be able to be played with up to 8, though.

Hmm.. well if you're all married/in happy relationships, I can't recommend Un-Uh! No He Di'int!, since it really seems to be about dishing about the men in women's lives. But.... then again it might be the conversation game you're looking for.
From the manufacturer:
"In this game of secrets and laughter, the object is to be the first to make it to the end of the board by engaging in great girl talk. You might have to describe the perfect man, confess to a guilty pleasure you sometimes enjoy, or share a hope or ambition that you may have. Spaces on the board will have you propose a toast, do something silly, or get drinks and snacks for your friends playing the game. You'll talk, you'll laugh, you'll vent! Game comes with game board, "talk about it" spinner, die, 6 game markers, and game rules. The game of secrets and laughter. This party game for girls includes spaces such as “Bad Boyfriend Bash”, “Do Something Silly”, and more. The game includes a 12 ¼ in. x 7 ½ in. game board, a die, a Talk-About-It spinner, and 6 game markers. "

There are a new line of games called "Scene IT". There are several versions, even a Harry Potter one for kids. You team up into two teams or more and then you watch clips of movies, listen to quick plays of songs or draw a card and answer that question. What you role determines what you get to do in the game. It is sooo fun. A bunch of my friends got together around Christmas and played it. It was great. You do need a DVD player. Good luck.

Play Dirty Bingo:
Everyone brings 3 wrapped gifts of $5.00 or under. (candles, picture frames, lotions) .
Play Bingo.
The first bingo gets to open 2 gifts and set them in front of her (and all bingos until all the gifts are unwrapped) . Keep playing until you've had 5 bingos to a card then clear your board. (other wise it takes too long to bingo)
Start a fresh card and keep playing!
When all the gifts are open,
The next person to call bingo gets to STEAL ONE gift from anyone they choose and put it in front of them and the play goes on for 4 more bingos. You CAN NOT hide a gift you want to keep by putting it on the floor or keeping it in it's gift bag! LOL Sneaky, but it just isn't fair!
Set the timer when all the gifts are open.
Don't think that you only need an hour to play!
Once you get to stealing things and people start 'shopping' (shopping = taking their time to look at everyone's gifts to see what they want to steal) the time goes really fast! We teasingly call each other names! Tell each other to go 'shop at someone elses store! That kind of thing! LOL
Hint: If 2 people bingo and 'Sue' was first to call of BINGO
Sue gets her first choice. When she chooses her gift
the SECOND Bingo caller can NOT take what Sue has just stolen!
Not until the next Bingo. If Sue steals and the next bingoer for that round steals what Sue just took. It's like Sue didn't bingo at all.
That's why someone can't steal it right away if 2 (or more) people bingo on the same number.
The gifts are only little trinket things. But once the stealing begins WATCH OUT! LOL
When the timer goes off... use the card that you have just been marking and play a 'cover all' meaning someone must cover all the sqares on one of their cards. This lucky bingo caller gets to select TWO gifts from anyone she wants and the game is done!
I've been playing this with my group of friends for 24 years now!~
It's SO much fun!
Another hint: Use markers and Paper bingo cards. IT's much easier than all thoes chips and they are only $3.00 at Walmart in the 'party favor' isle.
If you like playing and want to play on a regular basis, Invest in a Bingo calling machine $9.99 or a deck of Bingo Cards $5.00
I would love to hear how it goes! Can I come and play too? LOL

just use a deck of cards, and play 31, play for nickels or quarters, everyone starts with three coins. the more people the better. easy game, each player gets three cards, draw and discard to improve your hand, goal is to get 31 points, all the same suit, aces count as eleven, face cards 10. if you think your hand is the best, knock after your turn, and everyone gets one more round of drawing. worst hand puts a nickel in the pot. if someone's hand is better than the knocker, the knocker puts in the pot also. play until all players eliminated. everyone gets one hand 'on their honor', so if you lose 4 hands you are out.

Cranium is a great game to play in a group. It may not have questions that reveal your family member's deepest secrets, but the activities involved will bring out their personality. You'll be guaranteed to have fun with this one.
