A woman will hold you like a child, and let you be macho in front of your friends. A woman is a thing to be cherished, and respected, if you're lucky enough to ever find one. Growing up, even as a teen and in my early 20s, I wondered the same thing. I had been menstruating since I was 12 (I felt no where like a woman at that age), had grown my boobies, pubic hair, and other "womanly" curves and still did not feel like a woman.

I got married, and got pregnant.

Nope, still did not feel like a Woman.

It was not until my son was born that my mom said something to me that I will never forget. She was watching me nurse my tiny little baby boy, looked at me with pride and tears in her eyes and said, "Now you are a woman."

It felt true, very true. I no longer felt like a girl and it felt awesome.
