My girl and I are trying to have a baby. I know that the first sign is obviously a missed period. but is it possible to find out before that? Like say buying one of those EPT's?

I used a regular Safeway brand pregnancy test and tested positive ten days after conception. A full four days before my period was due. I don't think spending the extra money on EPTs helps.

Yes... Use the new EPT test. will tell you 5 days before her missed period. You can also try the using a ovalation predictor test. for her most fertile time of the month. and during those 24 to 72 hours screw your brains out. Good luck 2 u both...

there are a lot of epts out there in drugstores but it will be best for you to wait even up to 5 days of delayed period . epts result most of the time is negative. bec no enough hcg found yet if u test before the period. dont be so excited, goodluck!

First Response brand tests can tell you 5 days before your missed period. There are 3 test strips in the package and cost $18

it is very difficult to get an accurate test before a missed period. its best to wait until a week after a missed period but even then, stressing or thinking about it often can cause a cycle to be delayed by days or even weeks....trust me, mine was delayed 3 weeks. The best test is a blood test from the doctor because sometimes even home tests are wrong.

Most of the the time those don't work until enough of the hormone is present in the body to be accurate, which is usually after the first missed period. Just got to be patient. It's the best way to conceive also.

the epts may work i am not sure. but i think they are only like 5 days before her period is supposed to be so you might as well wait. sorry.

its possible to find out five days before her missed period, i saw it on a commercial but i dont remember which brand it is...go to the store and read the labels, i think it was first response now that i think of it! yay! good luck on it!

well there is one pregnency test out there that tells u before your missed pieroid, but i cant remember the name.sorry
