Wash them again with detergent...add a little baking soda or white vinegar if you want.

You have to rewash them. Just drying them with fabric softner will not work, the mildew smell will linger.

Rewash in a shorter cylce and add some baking soda to the wash water.

rewash them on a short cycle and then make sure they go in the dryer after washing is done...dont wait overnight again or same thing will happen

1/2 cup of baking soda in the wash cycle, it will make sure the smell comes out

you could re wash or just put them in a soak cycle, with fabric softener. If it were towels id say re wash them because they are big and heavy, but clothes are lighter.

Yeah, just rewash them with soap and it should be fine. That has happened to me before too.
