if you just want a quick change, you can "repair" your connection which should give you a new IP from the router. If your looking for a more permanent change, you can set your ip address to be static (doesn't change) at the router, using your router configuration website (either post back with the brand of your router and i can help you with that or go to your routers help section) or you can use windows to set a static IP address in the control panel. http://www.answers.vt.edu/ask4help/connection/vtkb697.htm is a site showing you how to do that.

you can set a static IP address in the properties of your network connection under TCP/IP properties if you do this though you will also have to set a subnet mask and a default gateway if you want to be able to use the Internet also you will nee the IP address of a DNS server

you ve just double click on network icon in the left conner of task bar.
click support and repair.
Or use command line ipconfig /renew
but, Please make sure you set your ip as automatic recieve from DHCP
