how depressed do u have to be to call a suicide hotline?

Any time is the right time to call for help if you're depressed. I was suicidal in high school, and if it hadn't been for others who were willing to help me, I wouldn't be here today. Hi....If you're asking this question and its about yourself........call now. They have people there that can help you even if you're not depressed enough to commit suicide.

May I also suggest that you see your family doctor or any doctor. Explain how you feel. Depression is felt by many people . There is nothing to be ashamed of.

There are many different medications that can be prescribed for depression or anxiety and once you begin to feel better the doctor will slowly decrease the dosage until you are off them completely.

The sooner you go to the doctor, the sooner you can feel better.

I use to be on anti anxiety pills as well as many of my friends. Thanks to my doctor, I no longer need them and I feel great.

It's best to contact someone! If you look at suicide from a bible stand point you know that it is a sin.Now look at it for what it really is. It is a lie from satan himself,if you take yourself out ,he's won,everyone who loves you have lost and you have lost the most important thing yourself,your spirit.When ever these bad thoughts come upon you realize that satan is the one who wants to take you out.If he wants to take you out there must be a great calling upon your life.God has something great for you to do for Him.Stick it out come through the fire and see what God has for you.The fire (trials) will only polishes you for you shining moment.Remember change any negative thoughts and replace them with positive. Speak life into your circumstances not death. I pray that Jesus white light of protection be over you and for your mind to be protected.

Sweetie, if you have thoughts of killing yourself, then seek help right away! Please don't end your life. Think of all the people that love you. This is not the answer for your problems. I want you to know that God loves you very much, and He wants to see you prosper. He sent His Son to die for your sins, so that you could live in heaven when you die. Here's the thing- suicides don't go to heaven, they go to hell. And it is a very real place, full of pain and suffering. Even if you kill your physical body, your soul still lives forever. Find a church and talk with a pastor. He/she can pray with you and tell all about God's love for you. I will pray for you.
