If you are asking you should call the hotline

If you are depressed or having feelings of committing suicide you should talk to friend first that might help. If you still have thoughts of suicide and are feeling very depressed call a hotline or maybe even try to go see a psychologist first then maybe a psychiatrist because you might need some medication to get you through your depression. Take care and god bless.

I work in a Call Center and I deal with S/I patient on daily schedule. My issue with your question is that you are asking the question in the first place. Depression comes in all diferent measurements depending on how an individual can handle being depressed. Some people can handle more then others. You need to take it on an one on one case. So, the best answer is never question to call the hotline if you are depressed and need to call just call. I hope this helps.

If you are asking that question then you need someone to talk with. Call 1-800-NEW-LIFE. They will talk with you about whatever you are struggling with and can point you in the right direction if you need more help or resources. No charge - call is free - 24/7. I overcame a severe depression several years back - being depressed is very difficult but there is plenty of help available. Don't try to face it alone. Take care.

pretty depressed. Honestly these hotlines are a waste. Anyone who calls them just wants attention and has no intention of killing themselves. If someone was stupid enough to kill themselves they would do it regardless and would not take the time to call a stupid hotline.

If feel like killing yourself call me and I'll straighten you out.

Enough to seriously consider calling a suicide hotline.

I'm not kidding. Even if you aren't for sure going to commit suicide, you probably still need help. The sooner you get it, the better.

sad so you can';t stop cryin or so sad you can't cry. You just need to need someone. They will talk toyou on the phone. If you are not a danger to yourself then they may call you back to check on you they are good people who are there for that reason. They aren't there just to chat if you are afeeling fine, but if you feel bad, call them. Call 911 only if you want to spend 3 days in the hospital.

If you are deppressed you can email me every thing that is going through your mind. It really helps to write stuff down and get it of your chest. I will reply back and make you feel better and more powerful. I was depressed too a few months back, maybe I can help.

if you are seriously considering harming yourself (planning, preparing, or accumulating things to use), call a friend or a hotline for help.
