If your business is legit, it's legit. It's for collecting payments through the internet. For example, if your selling stuff on ebay or from a website by mail order. Just go to the Paypal website and follow the instructions to set up an account, it's really easy.

Paypal is basicly a form of online currency. Instead of using a checking account or a credit card that may lead to fraud Paypal acts as a middle man for you.
So unless you earn some sort of interest which I don't know about you can't make money off of paypal alone. It's simply a way of excahning money and making money is up to you weither it's legit or not

The easiest way to make money with paypal is to sell a service or item. Then use paypal to charge the customers. The only way it can be legal is if you have a business license.

I mean if ur selling things online that are legit then yes it is legit!
U just need to set-up ur account as a merchant account so u may recieve payments!
There is a fee when you do except money so I reccomend you ad a handling fee to your order $2-5 to cover the fee!!
Good Luck!

sell products on ebay and get the money on paypal.. Paypal will ask you for your ssn for tax purposes. You don't need a licence if you sell your stuff out-of-state but you will need one if you are selling in-state for tax purpoes. Hope this helps

I hope I understand. You can take in lots of money (charges) with pay pal. It goes into your bank account if so directed.
You sell something, goes from purchasers account to yours, you make money. (as I see it ) Let me know if I am wrong !
