PSP's are really cool. If you're looking for an awesome portable gaming system then the PSP would be a great choice. They cost quite a bit (around $200, maybe $250) but it's real worth it. You can play MP3's, videos, movies, look at pictures, browse the internet, watch television, listen to your favorite radio station, and play games with great graphics for hours with plenty of memory to store files. Despite what some say the screen is not too small. It's perfect size. You can see clear as hell. And it's very comfortable to use. Even the shooting games aren't that hard to play because the PSP has a thumbstick.

DO NOT go with a DS. I don't care what people say. It's... not good. The graphics are much worse, and there aren't as many capabilities. They seem much bulkier too. Even the DS Lite.

I would suggest getting a PSP. They are quite impressive. Just make sure you buy a case and take good care of it.

It's happy entertainment! Have fun!

OK I have to defend myself after getting my @ss ripped apart by Ray. I said "seem" bulkier. With that known did I in fact say the PSP IS slimmer than the Lite? No. But it is slimmer than the original DS. And guess what? It's a case. You can actually take the PSP out, stick it in your pocket, and walk around! Amazing I know. I simply meant get a case to store it in so you don't mess it up while your not playing it.

And you might be able to do some of those with the DS, but you cannot with a GBA. Screw that man. I have a GBA SP and there's no way in hell I'm going to do any of that. You can listen to music if you convert it to a .gba file and stick in on a flash card (which is WAY too much work). Even Ray himself said the PSP does those extra things better.

Did I say the radio and televison were free? No. I just said it's available. It may not come stock, but you can do it. OK? Alright.

"WTF?!? Are you people smokin crack? do NOT get a Nintendo BS ( or ds as some people call it....) , it's only good if you play E rated games only like frickin Mario games (which can be fun occasionally but I'm making a point here). Plus PSP has way more features like tons of MP3 space, it can play movies, pictures, better games, better graphics. Nintendo has always lacked in the features and graphics department (ie. gamecube). Get the PSP dude, it's way better"
From the way you talk, I have concluded that you are probably some insecure 14 year old kid. What the hell is wrong with playing E rated games? Just cause it doesn't have mindless violence, it's not fun? Or is it not cool huh? And what the hell do you mean the GC lacked graphics? The PS2 lacked graphics, everyone that actually bothered to read up on the PS2 and GC knows that the GC is stronger than the PS2. You're just some kid that started gaming on the PS2 after you saw all your friends playing GTA.

Way to contradict yourself. The DS Lite is smaller than the PSP, so you were lying. Next, you say buy a case for the PSP, and you're good. If you bought a case, wouldn't it be bulky?

You can do most of those things on the DS, hell, even the GBA.I do admit that the PSP does a lot of those things better though. The radio attatchment I don't think is out yet, and both that and the location free TV player cost MONEY. And I don't know about you, but my DS gets almost twice as much battery life as my PSP. Memory costs money too.

I think that PSPs are good, but people here in the US seem to overrate it, just cause it has GTA, a few other games, and the ability to play media. I'd still get a DS over a PSP, just because it plays games, the games I like, for a better price, without loading times, and other minor annoyances on the PSP that really add up. And contrary to popular DS fanboys' belief, the PSP is not dead. The DS may be selling twice as much as the PSP, but the PSP didn't flop as hard as the Ngage or Gizmondo, it's passing.

iPod and PSP is the same price so I definetly say PSP. Even if you're not a gamer. I have one game for the PSP and I use the music player and the video player most of the time anyway. And plus the screen is huge and iPods are overrated and too expensive to have such a short life. But The PSP is definetly COOL doubt all others who say otherwise.

PSP = Good, Cool, whatever you wanna call it now.

You can play games, listen to music, watch movies, go on the internet, show off pictures, watch TV (with the tuner), radio (need some attachment) and with every update there are new things you can do, now you can play java games too...granted there aren't ALOT of really great games for it, (my reccomendation is LUMINES!!!) it's still great. You don't even have to get an extra memory stick unless you plan on putting a TON of music or watching your own full length movies on it. DS is cool too, but I wouldn't ever trade my PSP for one. ;)

In my opinion, PSPs are pretty cool. I don't desire one for myself, but my friend has one and its pretty cool.
You can have lots of MP3's, pictures, and videos on it. You can also buy movies and games for it. Its like an Ipod and a Gameboy put together!
Pretty sweet if you ask me.
The only downside is that you have to buy a ginormous memory SD card for it (maybe 2 gigs), but that's $80 and it'll be plenty of space.. hopefully!

i presumed it changed into tremendous given the constrained capibilities of the PSP. that is notwithstanding quite trouble-free. This changed into the first activity i had for the psp and it blew me away. It changed into as on the point of ps2 high quality as i had ever considered in a hand-held. I nonetheless recommend it. verify out gamespots evaluation below.
