I've struggled in my past 2 starts.....I've kept the ball up and my velocity wasn't great....Any tips on keepin the ball down and gettin my velocity up?? (Other than lifting weights to increase velocity.)

Make sure you finish your pitch, and long toss, long toss, long toss, will get your velocity up.

I pitched in Little Leage and Senior League. I know where you are coming from. I trained using a pitching trainer. Most all of your sporting goods stores have one. It's a steel framed net that stands on the ground with a red square representing the strike zone. You need to stand back pretty far, because it has a lot of spring in the net and the ball comes back at you in a hurry. I trained with it before & after practice and after school too. Good Luck!

aim low or throw breaking pitch that are high and make them break low
