Relatively healthy!

When I say "dragged along" I mean it very figuratively. Sometimes if a bunch of friends want to go, I will agree. I just didn't want twenty answers that said "never eat fast food!"

Looks like rabbit food is the choice of the day! Fruit if available, grilled chicken sandwich without the mayo or other condiments, if you are at Wendy's then a baked potato; even the burger, if you ask for a plate and then pick it apart to eat with a knife and fork and not the bun.

How are you "dragged" along? Just don't go.

Even the salads at these places are absolutely loaded with calories and fat. Seriously.

Fast Food Salads: Eater Beware!
Doctors Rate New Salad Entrées Hyped by Chains: McDonald's Chicken "Salad" Packed with More Fat and Calories Than a Big Mac
Washington, D.C. -- May 8, 2003 -- Offering a salad entrée is the latest marketing push for fast-food and quick-serve chains but, according to a new analysis by the nutrition experts at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), many fast-food salads are not any more healthful than a greasy burger.

"For example, McDonald's Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad with dressing has a hefty 51 grams of fat and 660 calories while a Big Mac has 34 grams of fat and 590 calories. Surprisingly, this salad entrée also has just as much cholesterol, 85 milligrams, as the Big Mac." http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=23357

Is there anything saying you HAVE to eat when you go? Can't you just get an iced tea or bottled water or something? Eat at home, go for the company?

I've never understood how people can be 'dragged' to things like gfast food places and strip clubs. I mean, unless it's your parents dragging you there for dinner, why not just say no?

Most fast food chains now have salad options. Try going for that, minus the fattening dressing of course! If you need flavour, ask the counter staff for a packet of pepper and salt, and sprinkle them onto the salad for taste.....1/2 pack of the salt should be more than sufficient though!
Also, most fast food chains now also offer vegie burgers, which are soy or chick pea based. Although still fattening and thus unhealthy food choices, they're relatively healthier options as compared to the meat patties and deep fried options.
Good luck!

Wendy's salads are actually delish! McDonalds offers some salad options as well, but they aren't nearly as good. Even a plain chicken sandwich is much better than a greasy burger. Luckily fast food chains these days are getting much better at helping people stay healthy.

Most fast-food places offer salads. I know for a fact that McDonalds, Wendys, Hardee's offer healthy choices besides the regular menu items. They do, or should have a sample menu which shows the calories and fat contents. All you have to do is ask for one. They should give you on request.

Go for the Grilled chicken and have them hold the mayo.
Salad plates are good and STAY AWAY from the fries. For a drink go with water, milk, or if they offer a fruit punch like HI C choose that over soda

Almost every fast food place has a fresh salad option these days. Stay away from the heavy dressing, though!

Wendy's has a great Mandarin chicken salad and some of the McDonalds premium salads are pretty good.

well, you can always try salads, ever body's got them from McDonald's to Burger King. Another thing would be to stay away from soft drinks, diet or regular, both are unhealthy. Burger King also has pretty good veggie burgers, I should know, I'm a vegetarian.

They also have a menu you can look at.
