Just imagine what a used mattress has probably gone through...
It has been cried on...
It has been sweated on...
It has been peed on...
It has been farted on...
it has been diaper-changed on...
it has been menstruated on...
It has been vomited on...
It has been sexed on....
need I go any further?
and oh btw, about those aforementioned Bed Bugs!

I believe I remember seeing on the Discovery channel
that over its lifetime a full sized mattress will gain
1.5 pounds.
Why? You ask. Apparently that is the combined
weight of all of the sweat, dead skin and various mites associated
with human skin deposited on it.
Therefore, I would probably not recommend buying a
used mattress. I'll sleep in my own skin mites thank you
very much...

I'm thinking no. I recently saw something on Netscape about the rise in bedbug cases. Maybe if you can go inside of the people's home and inspect it a little it might be okay. Also, you might find one by word of mouth.
Wishing you bugless and cheap ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZs.

Yep.......... not to mention the critters (lice, crabs, chiggers, etc.) they may have left on the matress. you would spend more money having the matress sanitized than it would cost you to buy a new one.
You can get some really good deals at some matress outlets. Try there first.

I don't recommend it. I mean,,,,you just never know what has been done on it. I guess you're the one that has to sleep on it, but would you be able to sleep not knowing the history??
Buy a new one instead!! âº

Just check for stains. If you're that paranoid about it, go to Sam's Club.
