I have been playing with different drafting strategies ... but the first round is always a RB!
I have noticed that three of the first five picks are RBs for my teams (2 starters, 1 bench). I also would try to focus on picking up a solid WR early (2nd or 3rd RD). The QB can fall to the fifth or sixth round, with numerous options available at that time. TEs also fall under the same consideration for the most part.
DEF & K are late round selections (anywhere after RD 9 or so) unless you pick up the exceptional choices.
One very important piece of information: look at your BYE weeks. Make sure you don't have two starters that are off the same week, or you will be left short-handed against your opponent.
Good Luck

RB's are the most important to grab early because you generally need two of them and there is a very limited pool of good ones (not enough to go around, literally). so make your first 2 picks RB's. unless Peyton Manning is still available after your first two picks, then draft your WR's. then QB or TE and then backup positions (again in same order RB's then WR's).. make DEF and Kicker your LAST possible picks. you will do well with this strategy.

I would take RB's with my first 2 picks. Then a top notch WR. Then QB. After that I would probably go RB again unless there was still a top 10 WR left. Don't over value TE, K, DEF. You shouldn't draft a TE (except GATes) until at least the 6th or 7th round, but don't draft Gates with your 3rd pick either wait until AT LEAST THE 5TH OR 6TH ROUND TO TAKE GATES!!!

If you have one of the top 6 picks... then go for rb.... if not, then make your first 2 picks as ur wr...
Unless you can get one of the top 2 def, dont worry about your def or k and pick them last...
pick atleast 5 wr and 4 rb's..
qb is just luck.. so try to get somone who is consistent and would give u atleast one td every week... (avoid qb's who has better rb's in their teams)
good luck

I'd go RB, WR, RB, WR in the first 4 rounds. This way, you have your studs and your depth. A rule of thumb is to draft the best person available, but then people would draft RBs ad nauseum and why not? RBs make you the money, but so do receivers

Generally a running back but it depends on your roster requirements. Most leagues start 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 QB so by using simple supply and demand running backs are at a premium. If you change the roster requirements then if affects your next pick accordingly...

RB,RB then next best available for each round after that. unless the two RB's aren't better than the top two WRs on the board, but that is rarely the case.

RB's are the most productive position. I usually take them with my first two picks, for depth and just in case one goes down. Top WRs are good too, but if you can get a stud TE (like Gates, Gonzalaz, Crumpler), take them early - they are like an extra receiver.

I would say make your top 2 choices RB's. Last year I drafted 3rd in a 10 team league for money, and my 1st pick was Shaun Alexander, and with my 2nd pick I got Rudi Johnson. I finished in the top 4 and made the playoffs.
