Just bought a new Q phone. I cannot directly access yahoo or other internet functions easily. Any advice or do I just return the phone tomorrow and get the treo that I really wanted?

here is a yahoo help link. I think yahoo charges for this type of access.

If u are on a PC u can use a POP server like yahoo pop.

Whether it's the Q or the Treo, you will have issues accessing Yahoo via POP3. Probably easier to use the web browser on the Q and then access your account like you do on IE or Mozilla. The other option is to return that piece of crap of a phone and get at iMate IJAM (HTC Wizard) pocket PC. The screen is larger, keypad is easier to use, and in general is a better pocket pc because it's touch screen. The Q is not a touch screen device making accessibility to features very difficult. You have to learn how to use that navi-wheel with precision. The Q is a glorified Blackberry. I can't believe people are actually spending money on the Q. Even with the slim battery it's awkward to hold, and more so with the extended life battery. What a piece of trash.

You'll need to pay for the pop3 service from Yahoo. The free email doesn't have the option for that.
