It's not our fault really. When we were kids we are forever being told not to "tell tales" on each other and to "keep" it to yourself. So what hope for us when we are older, we either keep things to ouselves for fear of being a tell-tale or become a news reporter lol.

Because of we didn't keep them, then they wouldn't be secrets.

Because we do not want certain people to know facts which would prove embarrassing to us or upsetting to others.

*Secrets....Well.....because we want to be private people....scared of others reactions or something like that....
