Probably because your screen name is all symbols, and a lot of them are chinese symbols.

Stereotyping people... Maybe because your name is symbols and your avatar somehow to some people looks like a Chinese person; it doesn't to me. People shouldn't ask that because you speak english and stuff. I don't know what the problem is with these people. It's really none of their business anyway.

Do you look oriental? I get that a lot too, especially at work. Some people even start talking to me in Chinese or Tagolag, I'm Hispanic.

maybe if you talk about chineese culture or if you look like you might have some chineese heiritage (i dont know if i spelled that word right! sorry!) in you. or, maybe,one of your parents or relitives look chineese.
