Our builder did not cover 1800 ft water line to road, causing now a 3 foot trench threw our yard, fireplace does not work and we also paid for all of the flooring, front and bedroom doors, light fixtures and plumbing fixturers. Even though he was getting a construction loan check for these items that came out of our pocket Also he broke the sewer line (septic field) while leveling the yard.We with held the last check from him and he in return put a mechanics lean on our house. What our chances in our counter suit ?

Report him to the Better Business Bureau as well.
Be sure to document his errors with photos and expert opinions when you go to court.
