i have verizon wireless. Cell phone. Is there a way to just leave a message without the phone ringing. I mean when it is on, the phone rings, then the message machine goes on. Is there a button or something to go through in order it for you to just leave a message without it ringing?

meaning when i call another person that is...so it dosn't ring and i can just leave them a message if its on

i know that with sprint, your voicemail gives you the option to send a message to another sprint customer. that way a voice message pops up to the person you are calling but their phone never rang. not sure if verizon offers this or not but access your voicemail and see if it gives you the option.
