Who's your favorite Dodger, and why? (you have to know your stuff)

I love baseball. I watch every Dodger game. My favorite Dodger moment is the Kirk Gibson homer off Eckersley. I sill watch that game when ESPN classic plays it and it still gives me goosebumps. My favorite Dodger is Fernando Valenzuela. Every time he pitched, Chavez Ravine was filled with noise. That guy brought new life to dodger stadium and it was exciting watching him pitch. I used to close my eyes sometimes when Orel Hershiser pitched through that incredible streak of scoreless innings hoping no one would score. I love watching Cesar Izturis play. Most of the baseball games I watch now are the little league games my nephew plays. Still, every year I have high expectations for the dodgers to make the World Series except for last year. I felt Paul Depodesta dismantled the whole roster and now they are starting to play the ball I expected them to play. But lately it hasn't been pretty.

I'm a huge Dodgers fan. My favorite has to be Cesar Izturis. He is an amazing shortstop. I know he's not the best offensive shortstop, but defensively, he is the best. Even though he's doing a great job at 3rd, I would like to see him back at short. I mean come on, he's so much better than Furcal.

I'm not a Dodger fan, but I got a big thrill from seeing Eric Gagne a couple of years ago. He closed out the 9th inning striking out all 3 batters.

right now it has to be penny,he is our ace,he is proving that the trade for lo duca was a good trade.nomar garciaparra is second,without him and penny we would not be within striking distance of first place in the n.L.
