You need to emphasize what skills and abilities you have when you search for work. Don't hide your work history, but don't bring it out - let someone else ask.

And when and if they do, have a good reason as to why you've had so many jobs. If you screwed up, tell them how you've learned. If you just go from place to place, tell them why you've moved, and how it's made you a better employee.

It looks bad depending on the reason for the short employment history. If that was the length of a job, no problem, you tell the prospective employer that. If it was because you're a slacker, I suggest you change your lazy ways then.

You cannot lie on an application, that is grounds for immediate firing and maybe more. I suggest you tell the truth and do better in the future to build a good resume of longer term jobs held.

Maybe you need to change your work ethics. Why haven't you held a job longer then 4 months? How about if you can ask someone for a reference expressing your work abilities.

Fast Food is always hiring
Customer Service reps are always a good entry level job
you might want to get in touch with a temp agency or a job recruiter.
